Garden Open Day

Thanks to everyone who supported the garden open day from the volunteers organisers, to the Aireys Primary School for participating in the art competition, Bill Jackman & John Wilcox for designing and creating the gates and sign and Jeremy Morris from the Anglesea & District Community Bank for awarding a community grant which enabled the purchase of garden tools. Although the day was very wet, everyone enjoyed themselves and it was a great opportunity to see what a wonderful asset the community garden is. The garden is for everyone, it doesn’t matter how old or young you there are many ways to participate and learn to live a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
