The centre is open from 9.15am - 2.15pm, Monday to Friday. As this service is an occasional care program, children cannot access more than five hours per day or fifteen hours per week of care. The days and times of operation do vary at times depending on the demand. The days and hours of operation will be displayed on the door at the entrance to the Occasional Care room and at the Community House entrance.

Please note: Parents are requested to keep to the scheduled hours when dropping off and collecting your child. Should you arrive before the scheduled commencement of the program, you will need to remain with your child until such time as the program has commenced. As we are only covered by our insurance for the nominated hours, it is very important to collect your child on time. Any persons failing to do so will incur a fine of $I.00 per minute they are late. If you know that you are running late please make alternative arrangements, e.g. call a friend, neighbour or emergency contact and call us to inform us of this change.

The fees for occasional childcare are set at a rate to encourage parents to use the service without causing undue financial strain. The Community House does receive a small amount of funding from the Department of Human Services: however at times it will be necessary to review the fee structure to ensure the centre is meeting costs.

The printed fees were current at the date of publication. Updated fees are displayed in the childcare room and at the Community House entrance. There is a transfer fee of $10 for transfer of payments and there is no refund after 9 .15am or for non-attendance without notification.
