A series of mosaic art works are to be constructed by community groups to highlight the history and unique flora and fauna of Anglesea.
They are to be located around the town, and will form a walk that both locals and tourists can enjoy. An interpretive brochure will be produced to explain the features of each mosaic.
The planning for this project is well underway.
As the mosaics are to be designed by a paid regional artist, funding is being sought from Federal and Local governments, charitable foundations, businesses, local groups and through community fundraising.

We thank them for supporting us in this community project.
Three workshops were held in December 2009 where community members had a wonderful time learning the art of laying mosaic tiles. These skills will be put to good use in creating the community groups Art Walk.
